If Bangladesh could be compared with a person it could be compared with, as a friend of mine perfectly identified, a youthful teenager, full of life and energy but with a decidedly emotional temperament to which wisdom or logic could not be easily applied. The single most striking and memorable feature of a visit to this country will be watching the resilience of her people against all the odds. Fortunately, the signs of maturity are getting larger in number everyday than the uncertainties of the earlier age. Besides, this is also the same area which might be lost in the sea due to the climate changing scenario, with some companies being bold enough offering 'global warming tours' and with all the media attentions, it might get popular very soon.
The true beauty of the country lies well outside it's crowded and polluted cities. This is a country beset with rivers all over it. Therefore journeys on the river offers the most to see it's real beauty. May be the 'sights' of this place will not compare with those of the neighbors but that is not really a journey to this country about. Considering both the harshness and blessings of the place, one will certainly leave this place knowing that if they survived this place, there are only a few places left where they will feel out of their depth. Lastly, the thing about this place will amaze you the most is the hospitality of people which is best experienced in it's countryside. The local people consider it both pleasure and honor to be of service of their guest and will often offer the guests far more than they expects.
