Experience the Imperial City with your own private local guide!
City founded by the last Brazilian Emperor - Peter II - in 1884, in order to leave the Capital during summer, became the only city in America where there is an Imperial Palace, today the Imperial Museum. The city had been planned and built following the plans of an architect, Major Archer and built at the hillsides of the mountains, 800 meters high. Nice, weather, nice gastronomy and lovely atmosphere make this place a very special one.
** NOTE ** The museum is CLOSED on Mondays.
** NOTE ** If your preferred start time is not listed, simply include it along with your pick-up (meeting) location during the booking process. If there is an issue, I will contact you but please know that I am flexible and in most cases, I can accommodate your needs, not a problem!

Visiting Quitandinha Palace, Imperial Museum, Cathedral and Cristal Palace. If desired, Santos Dumont House and Bohemain Beer Brewery.
Lunch at one of the local restaurants followed by a city tour and then stopping at one of the handmade chocolate's stores before driving back to Rio.

This day was OK with Leandro. He was whineing and complaining as usual. But at least he knew how to get to Petropolis and arranged for us to visit the Palace gift shop.
