The old capital of Umbria


This walking tour is a leisurely stroll through local history from its faraway Etruscan origins to a highlight of Renaissance: Perugino's paintings in the National Art Gallery of Umbria.

Itinerary

We start our visit in the courtyard of the archeological museum. After a brief historical introduction, we walk up to the Etruscan Gate and discover the center: Piazza d'Italia, Corso Vannucci and the main square with it's famous fountain. Upon request we can visit the Art Gallery.
Our walk will take about two and a half hours.

Meeting location: Departure is from Piazza d'Italia near the Gelateria Veneta.

End location: The tour ends in the center of the city.
