Discover Eastern Prince Edward Island...
The landscapes along the Points East Coastal Drive captivate and inspire. Red coastal cliffs and sandy beaches in red or white, forests, farm fields, well-kept homes and gardens, gentle rivers and the ever-present sea all await you. After a circle of historic Charlottetown our first stop is PEI's oldest wooden lighthouse at Panmure Island, a designated heritage site. Climb to the lantern and view the beautiful beach, (the Island's best kept secret). Our winery stop is Rossignol Estates Winery, a double gold winner for their Blueberry wine at the All Canadian Wine Championships, among numerous other awards. The nearby Wood Islands Lighthouse, 1876, is our second oldest with an attached dwelling (now a 6 room museum) and tower of this style. At Point Prim, you see first and oldest on PEI and one of only a few round, brick lighthouses in Canada. Each lighthouse is available to be climbed. Relax and enjoy the picturesque landscape once again on the drive back to the city.

This was an excellent way to see PEI.....beautiful countryside! Our guide Kevin was so knowledgeable and so passionate about the history of the island. Our party of 3 rode very comfortably in an Escalade and that made the trip quite nice!! The tour included 3 lighthouses (only 1 that we actually climbed to the top) and the other 2 we just visited for pictures. Only 1 very small winery was included on this tour....a little disappointing. Kevin was fantastic!
