The most famous market in the world !
Les Halles Paul Bocuse are "the belly of Lyon". This place is a food temple, and only the best shops can open here. It is probably the best place to discover the local traditions, our best products and recipes.
I will take you through the market, and tell you all the stories about those shops, the history of gastronomy in Lyon, but also my grand-mother's recipes and tradition.
Here in France, food is not just something we leave to the chefs. It is something that we live, that we experience with our families and loved ones. As Paul Bocuse said : "If your cooking wasn't made for your loved ones, it can't be good enough".
That's my philosophy, the reason why I LOVE cooking and what I will be trying to show you during our tour.
The tastings included are : quenelles, rosette (dry-cured meat), cheese, wine, macarons, praline and coussins lyonnais.
