Maybe because I think we can be blind when facing a painting or a medieval wall, even with our numerous smartphones, cameras and maps.
Maybe because I am talking of helping you having your eyes and confidence back and wide open by giving you some keys to really meet a painting, a district or a moment. . .

No matter the place you are in, the guide you choose guide can totally change your experience
Would you be my guests ?
Need more to decide ? Here are more conventional informations :
I did about 1500 tours since I started working as a full official licensed guide 9 years ago.
I studied and worked in many different places :
From Castle under construction
to world famous museums and monuments
I showed the real "taste" of Paris using boats, buses, feet, luxurious van, metro, bikes or horse-draw cartridges ( a tour is always customizable).
I shared my guiding passion for different kinds of people :
From 3 years old kids looking for reals dragons in a Castle
to expert tours with patrons in a privatized Louvre
From small family group of 3 generations enjoying a very particular voyage in theirs lives
to young prisoners, reluctant at first to a guided tour and finishing it by running with me to see the more they could in the time that remained.
Now, when working, I always remember this :
A tour that can be several times a week for me BUT can be once in a lifetime for you.
As an autonomous official guide,
I decided to create my own tours with ingredients I find important to compose with :
Curiosity, open mindedness, passion and confidence in you because things are not so complicated.
At the end, I don't know if I am "Rock'n roll but I sincerely believe in this Keith Richards sentence
(replace "songwriting" by "guiding") :
"This is one of the fabulous stuff of songwriting: it's not an intellectual experience. One can obviously have to use one's brain here and there but, at bottom, it is above all the ability to grasp moments. "
Ready to be my guests ?
If yes, Welcome ! Please have a look to the tours I already offer and contact me to make it unique or to create your own.
Thanks a lot for reading my presentation, I wish you a pleasant stay in Paris in any cases.

A Recent Review of this guide
Alexandre provided our family of 5 a terrific highlights experience despite surprise closures due to false fire alarm. We loved his passion for both the works and the sharing of the works. He gave us background, context and commentary, and especially, he connected with the young adults in our group. Alex turned "oh, art" into "ooooh, art is cool." Thanks, Alex!
