Tyrifjord, Randsfjord and Hadeland Glassworks
If you would like getting out of Oslo and see the countryside, this is the tour for you.
In scenic surroundings just an hour north of Oslo you find Hadeland Glassworks, the oldest Glass Ware company in Norway, established in 1762, located in historical buildings on the shores of lake Randsfjord, a beautiful picturesque part of the countryside.
We will be able to visit the workshop of glassblowing studio and see the display of old productions.
This is a popular destination for a day excursion. The area around the Glassworks is like a small, charming village.
We drive along the banks of lake Randsfjord and Tyrifjord, towns, villages and extensive cultural landscapes.
From here we return to Oslo for a City sightseeing. We will drive past -photo opportunity- the Akerhus Fortress, Karl Johan street, University of Oslo, the Royal Palace, the Parliament Building, the City Hall, the Opera House. Order of sights may vary.
Lunch break at Hadeland if desired.
The Waffle House serves the most delicious waffles and pancakes.
Restaurant Kokkestua serves lunches and dinners based on traditional Norwegian culinary traditions.

Return to Oslo for City Sightseeing.
