Osaka, hustling and bustling ?
Osaka is said to be the place of ruining oneself financially by one's extravagance in food. That is to say, Osaka is a gourmet city. There are busy towns like Dotonbori, but there are also quiet places like Sumiyoshi Shrine. There are some famous streets in Osaka City and we can do shopping and eat a variety of food there. Although there is no World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it has more visitors than Kyoto. Osaka is situated in the middle of Japan and in a convenient place and has a large population. There are many things that attract tourists.
Osaka Castle : Originally built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the once national ruler, in the late 16th century we can enjoy seeing gates, ponds, moats, castle stones/rocks, some building, etc. (Nishinomaru Garden, Hokoku Shrine also) even before entering the main castle
Umeda Sky Building : Very thrilling climbing up to the top of this building (173 meters high) by elevator and escalator. And up at the top a bird's eye view of Osaka City awaits us.
Dotonbori Town : Maybe a bustling and hustling town, right. Let's go to Dotonbori Town to make sure if it is true or not.
