Sofia - Koprivshtitsa - Starosel - Plovdiv - Sofia
In the morning departure to Koprivshtitsa. The village boasts a large number of architectural monuments from the Revival period, most of which have been restored to their original appearance. Collections of ethnographical treasures, old weapons, National Revival works of art, fine fretwork, household weaves and embroidery, national costumes and typical Bulgarian jewelry has also been preserved. Proceed to the Thracian tomb of Starosel. The Thracian Temple Complex was found in 2000. This is the oldest ever found royal Thracian complex with a mausoleum. It dates back to the end of 5th and the beginning of 4th century BC. Visit also the Horizon Mound, dating to the end of 5th and the beginning of 4th century BC. This is the only one found Thracian temple with a colonnade.
Proceed to Plovdiv. Take a sightseeing of the Old town of Plovdiv for 2 hours including the Roman theater and the Roman Stadium. Departure to Sofia. Drop off in your hotel.
8 am - pick up from your hotel. Departure to Koprivshtitsa.
10 am - estimated time of arrival in Koprivshtitsa. Sightseeing tour of the village.
12:30 pm - Departure to Starosel.
1:30 pm - Arrive in Starosel. Visit the Thracian tomb of Starosel and the Horizon Mound
2:15 pm - Departure to Plovdiv.
3:15 pm - Arrive in Plovdiv. Short lunch.
4 pm - Start the sightseeing tour of Plovdiv
6 pm - Departure to Sofia
8 pm - Drop off in your hotel. End of service.
