Old Town - Djurgården - The Vasa Museum

Itinerary

The history of Stockholm started in the Old Town, back in the 12th Century. When walking on the cobbled-stoned streets I will tell you all about the little market place that centuries later ended up being the Swedish capital. We'll continue with ferry to the island of Djurgården, where we will continue our walk and later we will end the tour at the Vasa Museum. The old warrior ship Vasa sank on its maiden journey, in August 1628. In the beginning of the 1960's they took her up again. It's a true sight. In a way a must.

Meeting location: We'll agree beforehand what is the most convienient place. NOTE THAT I START THIS TOUR WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS. IF YOU DOCK WITH YOUR CRUISESHIP IN NYNÄSHAMN WE NEED TO CORRESPOND BEFOREHAND.

End location: The Vasa Museum.
