Enjoy the charm of Nara with a private guide
I will take you a 8-hour tour of Nora. First we visit Yoshikien Garden, a nice Japanese garden, then walk to Todaiji Temple to see the Great Image of Buddha, 15-meter tall bronze statue in the world-largest wooden Buddha hall. At this time you will be welcomed by a lot of tame deer. We keep walking in beautiuful Nara Park to Kasuga Grand Shrine where you will see a lot of lanterns. The last place is Kofukuji Temple with the 50-meter tall pagoda you will see.

Setsuko is a wonderful guide who caters to our interests. After spending a day in Kyoto yesterday visiting the Imperial palace, Nijo-jo Castle, the Goden Pavilion, and the Gian area, we started the day in Nara at Todaiji temple and surrounding park. Rather than seeing many more temples & shrines, my family (including 3 sons, ages 19, 16, and 14) opted for a more modern experience--and Setsuko modified the itinerary to our needs, taking us to Dotonbori area in Osaka, which was a lot of fun.
