Let's enjoy two cities with a licensed guide

I will take you on an around 7 hour tour of the city of Nara and Osaka from your hotel in Osaka , Osaka cruise ship terminal, or JR Shin-Osaka station, mainly on foot and using the public transportation system like the train.

Nara was the capital of Japan in the 8th century, and the city still keeps a serene and traditional atmosphere. We'll visit Todaiji Temple, popular for Great Buddha (a huge Buddhist statue) and Nara Park, popular for tame deer. We'll take a taxi or a bus from Nara station to the first destination (approx. 1000 yen for a taxi).

Osaka also has a long history, and developed as a commercial city. We'll visit Osaka Castle.

I love to eat. Please let me know if there is anything you'd like to eat.

When you stay in Osaka, it is easy to visit Nara. Let me arrange a memorable visit.

Itinerary

Todaiji Temple (Great Buddha)
Nara Park
Osaka Castle

# We'll take Kintetsu train (or JR train) from Osaka to Nara, and also from Nara to Osaka.

The itinerary is flexible.
Please let me know if you'd like to visit other places.
If a facility on the itinerary is closed, other options will be offered.

A Recent Review of this tour

Toyoko was the best! Very patient and accommodating. We learned a lot from her, about the city (Nara) and it's history. We had a great time in Nara. Many many thanks!
