I became a guide in 2009, I love so much my job!
I graduated in art history in 2003, at the Orientale University in Naples, my city. When I can, especially on the low season, I improve my knowledge about several subjects, like archeology, photography, organization of new tours, languages; my next class will be focused on religion and tourism, how to explain it to people, recognizing for example saints into the paintings.
Another passion is travelling, with some friends or alone. I work with a lot of people from all around the world and it means different cultures, histories, traditions: when I travel, I try to "live" places as an inhabitant, not a tourist, and I think it's very important if you want to be a good guide. You know better people, their requests, you learn something about their countries and you teach something new of yours.
Naples is my city. I was born here and I live in a beautiful area on the hills.
I absolutely love it! It's full of everything: art, history, traditions, archeology, museums, churches, palaces, castles, landscapes, food! And it's close to amazing areas as the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Sorrento, Amalfi coast, the islands of the bay.
I offer a different kind of tours, making a focus on the areas you must visit coming here and thinking about your interest and passion.
Some of them are walking tours, other ones have private transports (car or minivan); if you have any special requests, don't hesitate to contact me! It will be a pleasure.
See you soon, ciao!

Serena was absolutely excellent and really knew her stuff re Pompei. She was very very knowledgable and really made the tour very interesting. Really enjoyed the tour and the day!
