Introduction to Nagoya for first-timers
* Nagoya castle's main tower will be closed from 7 May, 2018 due to its restoration project. Therefore, "Nagoya in a Nutshell" will not be officially available after 8 May until new itinerary is set up.
This tour takes you around Nagoya and its main tourist attraction in a day using public transportation (mainly subway).
The first half of the tour will introduce you to the samurai culture of Nagoya at Nagoya Castle. We will use a subway to head down to Sakae (downtown Nagoya) to have lunch and take a glance at the iconic architecture of Oasis 21.
After that, we will move onto TOYOTA Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology to learn how Toyota developed into a global automobile company.
Alternatively, I am happy to customize the itinerary by request, so please feel free to drop me a line if you wish to visit/ experience other places in Nagoya!

Kumi guided my son and I through a fantastic day tour of two castles - Nagoya and Inuyama. We loved seeing the contrast of the two castles, and I thoroughly enjoyed our many conversations with Kumi. She also helped me skip the line and make rail reservations for the remaining week of our trip. Highly recommended!!!
