Hiking trail to Smolny waterfalls and visit to the local winery
This 1-day tour combines hiking and wine tasting in Anisimovka village, 2 hours by train from Vladivostok.
The first part is hiking along Smolny spring and waterfalls. Besides real Far Eastern taiga you will see wooden arbor for meditation on one of the slopes. And amazing dry-stone stairs that leads to this arbor as well. It's said that during Soviet time here was Wushu fighters' camp and they built arbor and stairs to it.
After hiking we'll visit family winery producing local "living" wine. "Living" - because they don't use any chemicals on its production, so this wine is free of sulfur dioxide!
There are more than 10 sorts of wine in assortment. Wines from local berries and taiga wild harvest will be the most attractive for lovers.
Tasting event is held in cozy wine-vault. Six types of wine will be suggested to the guests. Tasting is started from young, white and dry wines and finished with matured, red and sweet. The main idea - to find the wine you enjoy the most!
We meet at 6. 45 a. m. at your hotel lobby and drive to the train station. There we take train to Anisimovka village, where our hiking starts. We start at 10 a. m. Total length of hiking trail is about 20 km, it's about 4-5 hours there and back. When we reach arbor for meditation we'll have lunch and rest for 40 minutes. If you prefer to cut the trail, we can do it as well. We have to come back to the village at least by 4 p. m. Tour around the winery and wine tasting will take about 2-2. 5 hours. Then we'll take train back. We arrive to the city at 9. 30 p. m. and I take you back to your hotel. If you want to drive by car instead of train, let me know, I'll recalculate the tour.
