This is a must-see experience for any visitor looking for a taste of Cook Island's art and history. I will take you on a step-by-step tour to meet only a select few talented artists and explore their dazzling array of paintings, drawings, and sculptures, all of which paint a striking picture of Cook Island's rich artwork.
I arrive at your accommodation or preferred place of pick up and we talk about the exciting new places we will be visiting and exploring. We begin our tour by visiting a local village in Muri where a well-known local artist is situated - she has exquisite artwork and is very talented, you are amazed by her beautiful art that is displayed in her gallery. We also visit another local artist who paints, sculptures, and does woodcarving. He's so passionate about his work and it shows in his beautiful art. He is very talented. You don't want to leave! We stop on a nearby beach to have our snacks and try out a Coconut Nu fresh from a coconut tree before we embark on the next journey which is a newly built museum in Muri. It holds alot of interesting facts of our Cook Island rich history, it will help you to understand a little more of who we are as a country, a beautiful culture living on 15 beautiful Islands. Our tour ends and you now know why we are considered, the most friendliest people in the Pacific Islands.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: At your preferred port or accommodation location. Will pick you up at your designated area. Please ensure you let us know exactly where you will be.
End location: Drop off is at the place where I picked you up from. At port or same accommodation. If this has changed, please let us know before hand. Otherwise, I can drop you at the same pick up area.
Duration: 4 hours
Rain or Shine - tour still goes ahead. We don't have traffic on the Island and anytime during the year is a great time. Perfect tour for those looking to enrich their lives with a bit of culture and history.
There is some light walking to various places - getting in and out of a air-conditioned van. It is a modern tidy van and can seat up to 10 people comfortably, 12 is a squeeze but manageable.

Sunday is a sacred day in the Cook Islands. Many of the Main Shops in the Avarua town is closed. There are some activities available on the Sunday. I am only available to advise and recommend what to do on the Sunday.
