An amazing day of history, beer, and gorgeous scenery
This tour is the perfect chance to enjoy Bavarian beer while marveling over the stunning scenery of the Alps. Between the metropolis of Munich and the mountains of Garmisch-Partenkirchen lies the quaint village of Murnau. During the 19th and 20th century the town became a mecca for artists, writers, and musicians who were looking for inspiration and enlightenment. The likes of Kandinsky, Franz Marc, and Münter all called this beautiful lake village home and on our tour we will explore the walking streets, parks and sights that helped inspire these amazing artists to greatness. After exploring the village we will head to the local brewery for a tour of the facility and a history lesson in beer from the Brewmeister himself. The tour of the brewery includes tons of samples, dinner of pork, duck, and chicken, a brewery certificate, and plenty of good times.

How can you not give a 5 star rating when there's German beer involved? We had the best time with Jake on our brewery tour and train ride to Murnau and the Griesbrau Brewery (and one in our group doesn't even like beer)! Really fun day and Jake was very knowledgeable about beer and Germany.
