Visit to the National Gallery, the Munch Museum and places Munch lived and worked
This tour is for those of you who have a special interest in art - and specifically Norwegian art. Edvard Munch is the only Norwegian painter with a profound international standing. Responsible for symbolistic works like the Scream, Madonna, the Sick Child and a great number of impressive paintings and graphic works, you should use the opportunity when you visit his home town to see his influential art.
We start the tour at the Munch Museum, specifically dedicated to his works. Summer 2018 the Museum will exhibit «Edvard Munch: Between the clock and the bed», an exhibiton recently presented in San Francisco and New York. This is a unique chance to experience a great variety of Munch's art.
In our National Gallery, a specific room is reserved for Munch's art. On display are a selection of his masterpieces, among those The Scream. Besides Munch, this Museum exhibits a wonderful selection of international and Norwegian Art. Highly recommend!
Finally we might visit places Munch lived and worked
