Not too short and not too long, a just-right tour for your visit
I'll meet you at your hotel or B&B and we'll have plenty of time to for me to show you all the highlights and teach you the basics before you tackle the city on your own. Don't know much about Savannah? I can give you a general overview and let you know the best places to eat and shop, as well as my favorite museums and attractions. Have a particular interest, like architecture or African American history or the Revolution? Let me know and I'll be sure to concentrate on the things that interest you most.
We will enjoy a leisurely stroll at your convenience, focusing the tour on whatever topic interests you most: the Civil War, the Revolution, Black history, etc. We may also duck inside certain attractions that are open to the public such as the Lucas Theatre, Savannah Theatre, or the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. I do not cancel for bad weather- I leave that decision up to you. I am happy to wait a while and see if conditions improve before rescheduling or canceling a tour. A sturdy umbrella and good shoes are usually sufficient to deal with a light rain.

Bonnie hosted a terrific tour of her city even in the heat. She is energetic and has a vast knowledge of all that is Savannah. In the 3+ hours we had, she brought the city alive. If you want to really understand the history than she is a must.
