Discovery of Moscow underworld
The Moscow subway started in the 1930s as a part of defensive underground system built to provide the population with bomb shelters in the upcoming WWII. Since then this underworld is full of mysteries.
First we take a metro tour to visit some of the most beautiful stations and after I bring you to a place called Taganka Bunker-42.
Once a secret nuclear bunker built in the 1950s to survive an atomic strike, now it houses Cold War Museum. Inside the museum you will join an English speaking group and follow a local guide who will take you 215 ft beneath Moscow through secured tunnels and KGB rooms. One of hightlights is simulated missile launching.
I will meet you when tour is finished and we'll be back to your hotel.

This tour is a must if you want to see the best of the Metro as well as the underground bunker. Svetlana went out of her way to ensure that we saw as much as possible and was continuously pointing out things we would not have spotted without her. As well as answering all of our questions regarding the metro she was also most helpful with local knowledge & tips to make our stay in Moscow a little easier. I highly recommend Svetlana as a local tour guide who has an amazing local knowledge.
