A day tour of Stonehenge, Avebury, and England's quintessential countryside

This is QuintessentIal England.

We will drive in comfortable private transport to the West of England to visit the best Neolithic sites that England has to offer with lunch in a local pub right in the middle of the largest stone circle in the World. This title belongs not to Stonehenge but Avebury, an incredible site so large a village grew in the middle of it!

Journey through 5000 years of history, visit an old highway the same age as Stonehenge and see ancient figures carved into the hills by our forgotten ancestors. We will not only be visiting the major sites but stopping off at an iron age hill fort and points of interest along the way to make this a truly memorable day out from London.

We will cross fabled Ley lines, see Europes largest pyramid and walk inside an ancient burial mound, enjoyin the best countryside the West of England has to offer from our private transport.

After collecting you at your desired meeting place we shall be chauffeured to Stonehenge where I will walk you through it's fascinating history. There is the option for a walk around the area and it's burial mounds to truly get a feeling for the incredible landscape.

Then it's off to Avebury where we will visit and walk inside an ancient burial mound before visiting the village and stone circle for lunch. We will then see the ancient track called the ridgeway and a famous white horse etched into the landscape before returning to your desired drop off point.
