Marseille Highlights with private guide
Marseille: insolent, happy to be alive and more independent than ever.
This tour will give you an idea of the 2600-year history and the basic vibe of the rollicking city. We'll hit the important sites around the Old Port and the main street, La Canebiére. Then, we'll visit the oldest neighborhood in France, Le Panier. You'll see that loud, proud Marseille is like no other city in France.
For those interested, a sampling of regional wines can be arranged in a local's garden in the heart of Le Panier. Just let me know in advance!

Really great tour with Kathy in Marseille! She knows her city very well, and was very comfortable to tour with right away - it felt more like being with a friend or family than an unknown guide. My interests in history, architecture, and beautiful sights were fully satisfied during our delightful walking tour on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. Kathy was also very thoughtful about my comfort or anything I might need, and we had a very good running conversation the entire tour. Thank you, Kathy!
