Trace places and locations connected with one of the world's most iconic personalities
The tour starts in Schöneberg, where Dietrich was born (incidentally, not far away from where one of her friends, later in life - Hildegard Knef - also used to live). From there, we will go to yet another house which once was Dietrich's home, before we will proceed to Potsdamer Platz, first to the Marlene Dietrich Square, and from there to the Boulevard of the Stars where Dietrich has her very own smack in its centre.
Then, the tour continues by entering the nearby Film Museum, which houses the Marlene Dietrich Collection where many of her gowns, her letters and other private possessions can be admired. Lastly, we will go to the cemetery where Marlene Dietrich found her last resting Place, in Berlin's district of Friedenau.
From the S-Bahn station (Julius-Leber-Bridge) we'll walk down to Dietrich's birthplace, then back to the station from where the train will take us to Potsdamer Platz in a jiffy, where we'll admire Marlene's star on The Boulevard of the Stars, before entering the Film Museum, where we'll spend at least one hour in the Marlene Dietrich Collection.
Then we'll take the bus down Potsdamer Strasse to another house Marlene once lived in before taking the subway line 1, change at Kurfürstendamm to line 9, taking us to Bundesplatz, from where it is but a short walk to her final resting place.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: S-Bahn Station Julius Leber Strasse (S1), outside, on the bridge.
End location: Bundesplatz subway stop (which is near the cemetery), line 9 takes you directly to Zoo Station in just five stops.

The museum visit will take up at least one, if not two hour of the entire tour. Plus, birthplace and final resting place of Dietrich are miles apart, meaning that we'll have to criss-cross the city to cover all the places of interest.
