Relax Beach-Side on Nicaragua's Central Coastline - Masachapa, Pochomil, Costa Azul, or Quizalá

Take your pick between beautiful beach day trips to either Playa Masachapa, Playa Pochomil, or Playas Quizalá and Costa Azul. Each has its own draw while all promising sun, sea, and fresh fish. We can prep supplies in Managua to bring your own picnic or you can plan to dine ocean front. Opportunities to surf, boogie, ride horses, or spend time in a jacuzzi are available, depending on the beach. Pack your towel and a good book, and prepare for a good time. I will take care of the rest!

We will start the city escape with hotel pickup. As we head off toward the coast, we can stop for snacks and supplies as requested. From there you pick your beach destination:

Playa Masachapa - this quiet little fishing town is rustic but welcoming. It is developing its tourist industry and invites beach goers to enjoy its small hammock-hung cabanas, plates of fried fish and fresh lobster enjoyed on tables dug into the sand, and ample shoreline, for long peaceful walks.

Playa Pochomil - is a locals' favorite beach hangout. It is lined with little water front cabanas - packed with tables, lounge chairs, and hammocks. Locals bring their coolers filled but most places also offer a basic menu of Nicaraguan cuisine and seafood.

Quizalá/Costa Azul - These secluded beaches are a more luxurious escape from all the hustle and bustle and can only be reached by vehicle. There are a few select beachfront restaurants, one that includes a pool and Jacuzzi.

We'll plan to return to Managua before 5PM, to avoid rushhour.
