Day-Trip - 8 hours Private Tour
The wildlife park's main aim is to educate the public about the endangered animals of Borneo, by showcasing endangered animals such as Borneo Pygmy Elephants, Sumatran Rhinos, Orang-Utans, Proboscis Monkeys and many more.
A botanical garden, run by the Sabah Forestry Department, occupies one end of the wildlife park and provides an opportunity to get to know the plant life of Borneo.
Located about 36km from the city centre and 700m asl, Kipandi Butterly Park is situated within the cool crispy mountain area of the Crocker Range. Home to more than 100 species of butterfly and a collection of more than 1500 species of beetles, this park is perfect for those interested in both the entomology world and native orchids of Borneo (there are 400 species of orchids at the park). The trip includes a demonstration on setting of dried specimens for collectors and bird watching.

Excellent guide with outstanding knowledge of the local wildlife. Always punctual and looked after the group at all times. Arranged extra activities when the weather closed in and showed a keen interest in butterfly photography which was the focus of the trip. We cannot recommend highly enough. Prof James B.
