Live-streamed from the streets of the Northern part of the Buda Castle hill Budapest (walking outside on location)
Have a glance at the exciting and rich culture of the Hungarian Jewish community
During this live virtual tour - delivered personally and live by me using a live video conference software - I walk you through the Northern part of the Buda Castle hill, which is one of the least visited part of the hilltop neighbourhood. The residential part of the Castle hill was once the home of a large Jewish community which played an important part in the medieval history of Hungary.
During this one hour long live virtual tour I'll introduce you to two the story of two medieval synagogues from the outside. While we walk the quiet streets of the castle I also tell you a few stories about those who's been awarded with Righteous Among the Nations title.
This tour is an excellent complement to my virtual tour in the Buda Castle, or to my historical Jewish quarter tour as this tour rather focuses on the less visited Northern tip of the Buda Castle hill.
the main sites we pass by during our virtual walk from the Northern tip of the Buda castle hill towards South are:
Lutheran church of Buda
Carl Lutz's office
Duration: 1 hour
