I would love to guide you through it!
I am very friendly and passionate about my fulltime job because it gives me the opportunity to combine the two things I love the most: explaining and experiencing Portuguese Culture in foreign languages with different people, creating thus the art of Tour Guiding (which is not possible without you!)
I decided to dedicate my life to Tourism at the age of 18, when I was studying Arts. To be able to learn about it I studied Tourism Information at Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies, where I got my Bachelor Degree. Moreover, I needed to be recognized as a qualified guide, so I took the SNATTI quality exam, got my license in 2014 and I have been working as an Official Tour Guide ever since.
A Tour Guide is expected to be as knowledgeable as he/she can be and that is the reason I still attend to different study meetings, in order to enlarge my culture.
We are always learning! I wonder what will we discover together? Let's find out!
A Recent Review of this guide
We all absolutely loved Ana for her immense knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to communicate. She was very helpful, meeting us at Belem train station and doing the tour in reverse so we'd finish where we needed to be for the afternoon. This tour's a brilliant way to see all the main sights (we were so so glad to have a registered guide to sail past the HUGE queue at the monastery). This is a fantastic tour and Ana was a joy to listen to.
