to the old capital of Japan from the modern city with a licensed guide
I will take you on an around 7 hour walking tour of the city of Kyoto from your hotel in Osaka city, or from the Osaka cruise ship terminal, using the public transportation system like subways, trains or buses.
It's easy to visit Kyoto, the old capital of Japan, when you are in Osaka. Osaka can serve as a hub to Kyoto.
Kinkakuji is known as Golden Pavilion. The pavilion is covered with real gold leaf.
Nijo Castle was a residential palace rather than a military fortress.
The Arashiyama district is popular for bamboo grove. We may visit Tenryuji temple.
However, the itinerary is flexible. Please let me know your preferences.
I love to eat. Please let me know if there is anything you'd like to eat while you're in Kyoto.
Let me arrange a memorable visit.

Toyoko is a lovely woman and very knowledgeable. She met us at our cruise ship and she showed us many sites and knew the history of them all. She also speaks very good English.
