Experience Africa through its animals and magnificent scenery
For a taste of Africa there is no better way than an introduction to Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. Kruger National Park, in northeastern South Africa, is one of Africa's largest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape.
Breathtaking views, plunging waterfalls, eagles flying above you and a rich history, quite literally, as it includes the gold rush years, are the kinds of things you better get used to when you visit the Panorama Route. 'Guarded' by the small town of Graskop, this famous route is home to mountains, forests and canyons, most notably, the Blyde River Canyon which is also world's largest 'green canyon'. The awe-inspiring Lisbon Falls, Berlin Falls and Mac Mac Falls are also just a short drive away.
