The tour starts with a short walk along the sea-front then through the main park until will reach the main square of Kalamata. Other things that we will see are:
The Old Castle where Princess Isabeau lived
A Byzantine church at the base of the castle (inside a cave)
The hospital of 1821
Saint George's church, built in Venetian period
The Monastery of Nuns that used to be famous for its silk scarves
Saint Konstantine and Helen Byzantine church
