A private guided tour of Venice for children
Let's discover this unique city from the kids point of view!
Venice is a fantastic city for children: no cars, bridges and mysteries and legends and every corner.
Your kids will learn about Venice in a very easy and friendly way, visiting the most famous highlights of the city: Rialto and Saint Mark square.
Our tour will start in Saint Mark square, the heart of Venice. At the winged lion shadow we'll learn something about the history of the longest lived Republic in the history of the world.
After an exiting visit at the millenary church of Saint Mark (from April to October you'll skip the line), admiring the incredible golden mosaics, we'll start to discover the real Venice, crossing charming bridges, walking in dark narrow streets.
We'll see the famous bridge of sighs and you'll discover why it has this particular name;we'll go to the Castello district, visiting the nice "Campo Santa Maria Formosa", and its beautiful architectures.
Later we'll get to Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo, decorated with a bronze monument by Verrocchio (Leonardo da Vinci's teacher).
You will also learn something about the great traveler Marco Polo (the first european man who got China), visiting where is house was.

Our family all liked Francesca very much! She was friendly and tried often to engage our two daughters with stories and questions. She was easy to talk to (very personable!) and flexible - allowing us to change the route and stop in for a quick gelato or cafe. We found her very knowledgeable about Venice, including more obscure details (best candy shop! Cat ghosts!). She had amusing stories and fun advice we could follow. A thoroughly enjoyable tour!
