Vilnius was known as Jerusalem of the north. About 60 000 Jewish lived in Vilnius before WW2. I want to tell you about that culture and people which we had in our county and which we do not have now. Vilnius Old Town is one of the largest surviving medieval old towns in Northern Europe. In 1994 Vilnius Old Town was included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. Uzupis is district of artists.

Lukas Misiunas gave us a wonderfully detailed, well-planned, informative and thoughtful tour of Jewish Vilnius with a deeply moving extension to the Paneriai site where 70,000 Jews and 30,000 others were murdered by the Nazis.
