Introduction to Kyrgyz culture
Through this tour you will explore both: the northern and southern shores of lake Issyk Kul and all it has to offer: the beautiful landscapes, ancient petroglyphs, magnificent canyons and of course local peoples' culture & traditions. Issyk Kul lake, often referred to as the Pearl of Central Asia, is the second biggest mountainous lake in the world.
Day 1: Arrival to Bishkek. Bishkek City tour. Ala Archa National Park. Kyrgyz traditional concert is available. Overnight in Bishkek.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana tower. Shyrdak-making master class in Tamchy is available. Petroglyphs in Cholpon Ata. Overnight in Cholpon Ata.
Day 3: Hot springs in Chon Oruktuu. Karakol city tour. Jeti Oguz. Overnight in Karakol or Kok Jaiyk yurt camp (depending on the season) Horseriding is available.
Day 4: Fairytale canyon. Eaglehunting show in Bokonbaevo is available. Drive back to Bishkek. Cooking master class of a local dish is available in Bishkek.
Day 5: Departure
What to bring: Good walking shoes, warm clothes, sleeping bag (recommended), rain gear, sunscreen, hat/cap, a towel, swimsuit, flip flops.
