For me this tour was part sightseeing and part chance to learn more about the Manx branch of my family. Jane struck the perfect balance between sharing her enthusiasm for the history, geography and folklore of this beautiful and unique island and helping me find places where my ancestors had lived, been baptized or were buried. Thanks to Jane I have a better understanding of how my forebears lived and what life might have been like for them living in this lovely place.
