Depart Reykjavik for the Ice-tunnel in Langjokull glacier. Travel along the scenic Whale fjord coastline, see farms, summer cottages, impressive mountains, valleys and rivers.
Lunch at a local hotel which serves for example the traditional Iceland lamb stew. The stew has chunks of lamb in clear vegetable broth.
Return to Reykjavik either via the Whale fjord tunnel, or via the highland road Kaldidalur (only open in summer).
