Visit the imperial quarter, the very heart of the Habsburg emipre
This half day tour will show you outstanding architecture of the Habsburg empire in Vienna like the Imperial Palace, Heros Square, National Library, Spanish Riding School, different courts and squares, parts of the former city wall and the Last Supper in original size but made of mosaic.
The main spots on the route are: Albertina square, Joseph's square, Spanish Riding School, National Library, Imperial Palace, Treasury, Heros Square, Imperial Apartments, Church of the Minor Friars.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: Starting point: Entrance of Café Mozart behind the Opera.
Easy to reach: Take subway U1, U2 or U4, exit "Opera", go on the back side of the Opera. Just aside Hotel Sacher you find "Cafè Mozart". Meet me at the entrance (outside). I will be recognized via the "Austriaguides"-Badge.
End location: Ending point: Michaels square, close to subway U3 "Herrengasse"
