This half day tour will show outstanding parts of the Habsburg heritage in Vienna. It is a walking tour across the large area of the Imperial Palace combined with tours at the wealthy Treasury and at the State Room of the National Library, one of the most beautiful libraries worldwide and a unique baroque interior. The tour can be done EVERY DAY except MONDAY + TUESDAY!
The main spots on the route are: Albertina square, Joseph's square, Spanish Riding School, National Library (museum tour), Imperial Palace, Treasury (museum tour), Heros Square, Imperial Apartments, Church of the Minor Friars.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: Starting point: Entrance of Café Mozart behind the Opera.
Easy to reach: Take subway U1, U2 or U4, exit "Opera", go on the back side of the Opera. Just aside Hotel Sacher you find "Cafè Mozart". Meet me at the entrance (outside). I will be recognized via the "Austriaguides"-Badge.
End location: Ending point: St. Michaels square, close to subway U3 "Herrengasse"
Duration: 3 hours
It is a mixture of a walking tour (outside) and two museum tours (inside).
