A completely different type of tour - local village in Hong Kong
A wander through the old & new village of Sai Kung, visiting the special Tin Hau Temple of the village and area. Perhaps a traditional wooden sampan ride. Checking out the seafood restaurants, maybe stopping for a bite and drinks later.
A very different type of Hong Kong Tour.
Using either public transport to Sai Kung, which takes a little over an hour, (or by private car which would cost a bit more, and would take about 45 minutes).
We commence our walking tour at the beautiful Tin Hau Temple which is the Fisherman's God for the whole village and area, being originally a fishing village.
Continue our walk through the old section of Sai Kung, past the wholesale fish market and some great seafood restaurants. We could stop for lunch.
Mosey on down to the pier area where we could take a traditional sampan boat ride perhaps past our geological landmark sites for about an hour.
Or wander through the park and square areas.
Finally, go through the new Sai Kung area and past some other restaurants on the square, and perhaps stop at a pub or two, for a drink or two.

George is a real pro and he clearly enjoys what he's doing. He's proud of his fishing village as well he should be. We and our friends were so glad to get away from the congestion of Hong Kong. We get enough of that at home. Don't miss this tour!
