I like to say that my parts are from Hong Kong and then I was made and assembled in Canada, so I'm what people would call a CBC (Canadian born Chinese).
I moved to Hong Kong 5 years ago, mainly because I wanted to discover more of my Chinese roots and also because there are more corporate opportunities here. I spent most of my Hong Kong years in the corporate rat race (in top American investment banks to be exact). . . and during that time I became increasingly enamoured with Hong Kong - its culture, history, people and consequently started a blog about it.
As it might be obvious now, I've left the corporate world in pursuit of a more creative career. Now, as a licensed tour guide with the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, I'm here to share with you the more interesting and less touristy aspects and facets of Hong Kong.
Come with me to see places, taste foods, and experience things of Hong Kong that my parents told me about when they were growing up in Hong Kong. Reliving and finding Old Hong Kong basically.
I'm a huge FOODIE! I also do private foodie tours and craft beer brewery tours, which aren't listed - please message me to enquire.
Whichever tour you book with me, you've been warned that there will be a moderate dose of culture shock & food. The level of food adventurousness is completely dependent on your preferences - from hole in the walls, to authentic places suitable to take corporate clients to.
Oh, and most tour options can include a private car at an extra cost. If you're interested to know more about me, click on my photos to get a little more insight. Have a specific tour in mind that you don't see here? Send me a message.
See you soon.

Virginia is a great guide who knows all the ins & outs any tourist (or local) would need to know about Hong Kong! When we were together she brought us to great restaurants, and when we were apart she gave excellent recommendations of other places to eat (she even provided directions on how to get there from our hotel)! Any tourist looking to see both the local and tourist side of Hong Kong would be lucky to have her! Our trip would not have been the same without her guidance - definitely use her!
