A trip to former Jewish Ghetto and Small Fortress run by the Nazis during World War II.
Very "moving" and thought-provoking trip to a former Jewish Ghetto established and run by German Nazis during occupation of Czechoslovakia in Second World War. This Place was a part of the infamous concentration camp systém during Holocaust.
Terezin has been fortified town, surrounded by huge walls and deep moats; originally designed and built by the Government to become a garrison town in late 18th century. Most of the military facilities are still in place.
However, the Nazis were the ones who put Terezin "on the map"!
The bus picks you up at your hotel in Prague and takes you about 45 Miles North of Prague to the world-wide known former Nazi concentration camp site during the Second World War.
During this guided tour we will visit all the essential facilities in Terezin town: the Small Fortress, The cemetery, bus tour of this little fortified town, Crematory, Museum of Ghetto, and more.
