Shakotan Peninsula, Fruit-picking & Nikka Whisky
From Sapporo, we will travel along the scenic coast-line route. First we will stop at Shimamui seashore. We will have great opportunities to view and photograph scenic vistas. Second stop is Kamui Peninsula, which projects some 30 kilometres (19 mi) into the Sea of Japan. The Shakotan Peninsula forms part of the Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Kaigan Quasi-National Park. This area is famous for fresh seafood, so we can enjoy a wonderful seafood lunch.
Afterwards, we will head to Yoichi orchard. They provide all-you-can-eat fruit-picking experience. They have strawberries, cherries, apples, prunes, grapes and pears depending on the season. Final destination is Nikka Whisky Brewery. We can sip a free sample of tasty Nikka whisky.
