Side by side, the two sides of the eruption - Tour by train
We can meet at the Naples railway station and using the train Circumvesuviana we can first stop to Herculaneum, an other important archeological site, World Heritage, which was a luxus tourist resort of Ancient Times, than of course a walk to Pompei is a must.
In Pompei we'll catch a bus to Vesuvius, which drives to the height of 1000 meters and than you have to hike the last part of the peak to reach and walk along the edge of the crater.
The itinerary is very dense and the time spent in each place is limited

Valentina did a wonderful job maneuvering through the not very accessible wheelchair path and gave us a great tour of both Pompeii and Herculaneum. I recommend her whole heartedly.
