Budapest essentials in 4 hours
With this tour you can discover most part of Budapest, you can not only learn about the history but I will tell you fascinating stories, urban legends about the sights, places which can even take you back to the turn of the century.
If you want to explore more we can even add 1 or 2 additional hour, to walk a bit the City Park go inside the largest thermal bath of Budapest, or we explore some parts of the Jewish quarter with a visit of a small local synagogue, or we can stay a bit longer in the castle area.
The tour can be tailor made for you!
We start the tour by taking the oldest subway line of continental Europe to the City Park. I show you the Heroes square, the Szechenyi bath, and the castle and the ice skating rink in the park.
On the way back to downtown I can show you the House of Terror and the State Opera House as well.
After the Saint Stephen's Cathedral we go off beaten track till we reach the House of Parliament after which I can show you the shoes by the river before we cross to Buda through the Chain bridge.
Up on the Castle Hill we cover the Royal Palace, the Alexander Palace, Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion too which provides a memorable panorama.
The above recommended itinerary is a suggestion! Of course the tour can be tailor made for you!
