Unique tours of Lake Placid with local private guide
Join me for the shorter version (3 hours) for an off the beaten path Olympic and Historical tour of Lake Placid. This tour will include special places that I've selected for you to enjoy, learn about and experience. I call these places the hidden "Jewels" of Lake Placid.
We will start a visit to the USA Luge Indoor Start Facility, the Olympic Training Center (possibly meet Olympic athletes) than easy hike to the top of Rocky Ridge (fabulous views of Lake Placid and surrounding area)with cross over in to local maple syrup farm.
It helps to be in a good shape for this easy hike. After the hike and stop at the maple syrup farm, we will stop to visit one of the most important figures in American history, John Brown the abolitionist, who gave his life to liberate and end slavery in America.
The tour will last about 3 hour (with at least 1 hour nice and easy hike) please bring back pack with snacks, water, small towel.
Please also bring cash/credit card to purchase locally "made with love" maple syrup if you'd like.
Tour will start at 9:00 AM. I will meet you at your accommodations and you can drive your own car. We can discuss bad weather options after we meet.
