Walk and Wade the "Blue Ribbon" Bow
The Bow River originates high up in the Canadian Rockies from Bow Glacier into Bow Lake in Banff National Park. It continues through the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains before cutting through the City of Calgary and continuing its journey towards Hudson's Bay. The lower stretch of the Bow River - the section below the city of Calgary - consists of 55 kilometres of nutrient-rich water that's renowned for its abundant numbers of monster-sized Rainbow and Brown Trout.
For this tour, we walk the banks of the World Famous "Blue Ribbon" stretch of the Bow River stalking monster Brown and Rainbow trout as they sip caddis and mayflies.
