Private half day tour of Grenada
This is a half day tour designed for people with limited time on the island. It presents as much of Grenada as possible in a small package. Our first stop is at the Grand Etang forest reserve to experience the Grenadian rain forest and observe the crater lake which gives the forest its name, then we embark on a really beautiful drive across the middle of the island, through a mix of natural forest and cultivated land. There will be opportunities to see and experience many different spices and other interesting plants along the way. The second official stop is at a nutmeg processing station to learn about nutmeg, Grenada's premier spice then we make our last stop for swimming or just relaxing at the Lower Concord waterfall set in the foot hills of the rain forest. This tour involves walking short distances over uneven ground and in some cases stairs
Approximately 30 minutes drive to the forest reserve where we'll be for 45 minutes roughly. 1 hr drive across the island which includes stops for observing interesting plants and spices along the way. The tour of the nutmeg processing station will be roughly 15 minutes followed by a 1 hr drive to the waterfall. We will spend about 30 minutes at the waterfall then drive roughly 30 minutes back to the ship.
