Half day private tour in the world of Greek honey.
In the one- day excursion of honey we learn all the secrets of beekeeping and we are astonished by the well-structured bee society.
We visit a traditional honey production unit, we are wielded by the well-structured bee society and we safely walk through beautiful flowered landscapes. With the guide of our local beekeeper we meet and admire the magical world of the bees in their natural environment and we taste unique Greek varieties of honey.
We pick you up from our meeting point and we head to a small beekeeping unit outside Nafplio. We meet our local beekeeper, who introduces us to the magical world of beekeeping and we start an intra-day hiking having the natural environment of the bees as destination.
After wearing the necessary protective clothing, we approach the bee hives and the bees in their natural environment, where the beekeeper introduces the art of beekeeping and bee society. One hour later we return to the beekeeping unit in order to taste delicious varieties of honey and Greek dishes with pure Greek honey as the main ingredient.
Finally we take the road back for our departure point.

A fantastic morning, highly recommended! Nikos was patient, helpful, responsive, and offered local history and advice in addition to the fascinating main event: bees! The local Beekeeper was such a sweet (pun intended) man with a knack for teaching, a calm demeanor and a great perspective on his work. Tasty samples and our walk in the fields made for a wonderful interlude in our time in Nafplio. We will treasure our new knowledge!
