A different view of the Albaicin quarter and The Sacromonte Gypsies Caves
A super narrow street where just one person fit, balconies full of flowers, many old "Aljibes" (Old water Cisterns), a new mosque with the charming of the old ones. . . the beautiful views from the well-known Viewpoint of "Mirador de San Nicolás" and "Mirador de San Cristóbal" an enchanting bell- tower from the XVIth century. . . . We can see all those things and. . .
We will visit as well El Sacromonte or Holy hill, where inside the Caves our gypsies from Granada use to dance a traditional grenadian Flamenco style at the parties called "Zambras" and. . . .
Finally will arrive by the river Darro, walking in one of the nicest street in Spain with lovely house-palaces at the low Albaicin.
We can meet at your hotel or any other point downtown on request.
By taxi we will arrive to the highest point of the Albaicin quarter, San Cristobal Viewpoint.
From there we will go down through the alleys and maze of narrow streets that belongs to this neighbourhood remain of the old muslim Granada.
Then we will do a nice promenade along the Sacromonte and return by the Carrera del Darro Street.

We had a wonderful tour of the Albayzin with Conchi. She walked with us up to the top of the área, showing us many things, including the distinctive houses, the wáter systems, and the mosques that became churches. She gave us a lot of history of the área through the ages and also gave us some great recommendations for other things to see and do in Granada. I highly recommend the tour.
