The city of Jaipur is called Govind nagari also. It is because of Govind deoji temple that is prime deity of Jaipur maharaja located in premises of city palace of jaipur. City was planed in greed system with nine co-centric square blocks. Seven were planed for different art forms and two for maharaja himself. Practically sawai(quarter more genius than others)Jai singh had sheltered the art refused by mughal emperor Auranzeb of that age. The genius of the founder is visible in his town planing and in his astronomical observatory. His successors beautified the town with more ornate buildings and gardens. Albert hall museum, the building itself is beautiful housing finest exhibition art form made in the area.
Over all it is a great town to be visited.
