Flavors of the First Capital of Brazil
Bahia is famous for the history, carnival and gastronomy. The "comida baiana" is a must to tast while you are in Salvador.
During the tour, we will see a bit of our indigenous, african and european heritage focus on gastronmy. Dont think that Bahia is just a muqueca or acaraje. We are most more, just need a perfect tour to feel it.
(In this tour it is also possible to do a cooking class but you need to book in advance. )
We usually suggest a visit in a local market and also the museum of gastronomy (it is not open on sundays). Plus I will choose two different local restaurant/bars, so you will be able to check the best of our local food and flavours. Some drinks? How about a licor of jenipapo or cravinho?
Come to Bahia, feel the flavors of Salvador with a TourbyLocals Guide in town!
The itineary depends on the day and time of the tour, but I usually suggest to start with the market and them heading to the gastronomy museum.
On the way we can stop in one or two places to check the local gastronomy.
